I've been worrying for many guys for a while, I kept thinking about how I could help them in their spiritual journey, be helpful for those who are seeking the truth. But I could not think of a form, that would be suitable for them - there was an inner struggle inside of me.
Two desires were fighting in me:
1. To help my friends in their process of seeking God, in studying the Bible, getting to know God.
2. To share the Gospel with people in the streets, since many haven't heard anything about God.
For the past two months my friend, a missionary, has been giving seminars to share his vision about the importance of small groups and about why it is better than super evangelism. I already wrote about it (here are my notes from the first and the second seminar).
Through these seminars God confirmed me in my first wish - to start a men's club (a small group for guys who don't know God yet, but are interested in Christianity), even though I still have inner struggle.
Because of those desires and ideas fighting inside of me, and for many other reasons as well, I thought of a name for these small group meetings "Christian Fight club".
By this moment (April 16, 2013), we have already met twice. Of course it is not Coffee Night with 200 people coming there, but I praise God for this time! Those few guys who come are really seeking God, they truly want to understand the purpose of their lives, they don't want to stop until they get to know God! Praise Christ!
Pray for this small group, so that the Lord would bless the guys and reveal Himself to them !
