Prayer requests and stories about the situation on 25,01,2013

HelloJ We want to tell you a little about what’s going on with us now.

I.                    As soon as we (Yura &Nika) got back to Krasnodar, different people from our church started coming up to us offering to help them in their ministries. For example, they asked us to organize a conference for single young people. We are not sure if we will agree to do it or not yet, since we have many other ministry plans now. But we are still thinking about it.  

II.                 As you might remember, we told you about Coffee Nights – big outreach events which attract a lot of young people (last time there were over 200 people) to church. There are 2 news about this event:

1.      At the last Coffee Nights (on December 15) we had guests – Christian youth groups from different cities (Rostov, Novorossiysk, Kropotkin etc.) who came to see and learn how to organize such events. After that our brothers and sisters from Kropotkin organized their first Coffee Night in their hometown! There were 50 people there, and 30 of them were non-believers! We praise God for that! Share our joy – that is the fruit of our common prayers and work!

2.      The group of 6 of our teammates (including Yura), that is responsible for planning and organizing Coffee Night, is very tired, because the event needs a lot of preparation and energy. Some members of the Coffee Night team decided to leave it, others are thinking and asking God whether they should keep going or take a break to rest. Please pray for them to make the right decision!

III.               I (Yura) invest my time and energy into developing our outreach blog dorogakbogu.blogspot.com. This is a hard and time-consuming process! Please pray that I would be able to do this work well and have enough energy to accomplish all the necessary tasks. We are planning to organize various contests through this blog in order to attract young people to it, to get to know them, invite them to our youth movement and share the Gospel with them.

We sincerely thank everyone who supports and participates in our Christian youth movement,  prays for it and for us! We praise Jesus for you!
